The weather is howling away outside, and the damp view I have is obscured by the wilting branches of our Christmas tree. So of course I’m imagining a garden full of riotous colour, fun and… talking tiger-lilies. This madcap and rather beautiful Wonderland collage cheered me up no end.
`And can all the flowers talk?’ `As well as all can,’ said the Tiger-lily. `And a great deal louder.’
Alice stooped down to the daisies, who were just beginning to chatter, and whispered, `If you don’t hold your tongues, I’ll pick you!’
There was silence in a moment, and several of the pink daisies turned white.
