Yurt Roof Yurts are traditional mongolian tent dwellings which have become popular among the glamping crowd possibly via the spiritual fields of our many British summer festivals. Yurts are constructed with wooden trellis covered with layers of insulating felt and waterproofed with canvas.

I enjoyed a massage in a softly sunlit yurt this summer, and the space was peaceful and airy. If you have space (a meadow or grassed area at least 8m2), they’re great for guest overspill and even a b&b option if you have the space and inclination.
